A Father's Heart
Praise God for the message well delivered. Indeed, many were in deep thought of what was being shared and I believe that without anointing, I don't even know where to start share what and how to end. Even late night, I was still preparing the slides, going through them one by one, up to the few moments before I started to share. Many thanks for the prayer support.
Indeed, many of us, including myself, hardly know our fathers personally. We only view them as strict, fierce, indifferent, but do we even realize that they are also caring, protective and sacrificial too. They are the ones who should be close to us, very personal and very intimate. Their hands may not always embrace us when we need them, may not hold our hands firmly like they used to, may not always pat us when we just need an encouragement... yet, it was those scarred hands that gave us a home and a family. As God said, fathers are the head of the family as Christ is the head of the church, so, being a father is never an easy task. It is extremely challenging, interesting but rewarding at the same time.As the world evolves to be more technologically inclined, the society around us seem to have withdrawn to be less personal. Everything is so electronically advanced that we fail to see the fact that we still need that human, inter-personal touch. The human element is the one vital life veins to all these infrastructures.
Yes, our lives have become more comfortable, more convenient, or even more conducive. Yet, what the use of these if we ourselves grow further, digging deeper into the generation gap. Is technology really our friend? Or are electronic gadgets cannot be parted from daily routines?
Alas, our Father is watching in deep expectation ...
